Mountain Trekking Equipment

The following is a list of the equipment we recommend. Please note that some of this may be rented for the duration of your expedition upon your arrival.

  • Hiking boots water proof,
  • extra pair of shoes for around the campsite tevas or water sandals,
  • Warm sleeping bag,
  • sleeping matress
  • Rain trouser and Rain jacket,
  • 2 fleece pullovers layering lighter is better than heavy fleece,
  • Windproof jacket with a hood and pants,
  • 4 long sleve shirts,
  • 5 T.shirts,
  • Gaiters water proof,
  • Hiking poles 2,
  • 3 pairs of quick dry pants {zipper pant legs are ideal},
  • Thermal underwear tops and bottoms,
  • chums fleece pants,
  • Good protective sunglasses with strap,
  • Balaclava,
  • Hat,

  • bandana,
  • Gloves water proof,
  • Toe and hand warmers for summit day,
  • wide brimmed sun hat,
  • Insulated water bottles 2 or 3 lts minimum [camelback is better],
  • 5 pairs warm socks,
  • Favorite snacks,
  • small personal first aid kit,
  • Camera and film with extra batteries,
  • Zip lock bags and other plastic bags for wet clothes and to keep things dry,
  • Headlamp or flashlight with spare batteries
